Day one - getting started

WOD - AMRAP In 15min
50lb dumbell jerk x 5
30" box jump x 7


Todays workout was performed at Macquarie fields leisure centre. Box was shotty but still measure approx 30"
My rounds for this WOD was 13.
Always remember that the box jump isn't complete until you fully open up the hips at the top of the box, both feet should contact the box at the same time.

Also today i returned from GYMDIRECT with my new bumper plates, i purchased a set of 20kg and a set of 10kg and i must say they are better than i even expected, first thing out of the box Ben and i dropped them from overhead straight on the concrete and they not only didn't fall apart, the bar is still intact too. For anyone out there looking to set up a gym like mine i would thoroughly recommend them for both price and quality.Later on in the month i will show you guys around the gym and it's existing equipment.
